The Rajeshwari Karuna School propose Organic gardening to bring forth students with first hand experience with nature and organic gardening through practical approach. The curriculum provides opportunities for better livelihood and promotes self-sufficiency to the students. The school’s organic garden has strong potential not only to teach fundamental lessons inside four walls but it encourage and motivate the students to enhance practical skills in fields of producing organic vegetables. Activities like cleaning barren land, toiling the earth, planting seasonal vegetables is been carried out in the school campus. The Rajeshwari Karuna School aim to produced large quantity of organic vegetables for consumption and to be self sufficient not only in one particular fields but it subjects to have more ways than one.
Objectives
- To get maximum supply of own grown organic vegetables.
- To learn and embrace the value of local/kitchen gardening.
