Music not only soothsayer the spirit, but also transforms the total outlook and personality of human beings. Music is one of the prime importance as part of the school curriculum of RajeshwariKaruna School. Students are taught music as a subject from grade 5-10. The main objective of the music class as a curriculum in the school is to develop students’ musical literacy and musical sense through joining music activities, to enrich students’ knowledge of music, develop students’ creativity by adding in music composing, to appreciate the good music of the world, to promote learning interest and area in instrumental learning and to stimulate students’ interest in learning more musical knowledge.
